I like how the tree frames the ruins in the true black and white one.

In the top black and white (i.e. ZEBRAS!!), I think you could crop it closer on the bottom (and if you cropped on the top, bring that back). That way you can have more evenly defined layers of colors and objects in your picture.

My first thought on seeing the ruins photo was M.C. Escher. I enjoyed it.

oh, escher, i completely agree. from an architectural (and photography) standpoint, i think the bottom photo is very cool.


also, i love zebras.

I like the zebras one much more than the second. A closer crop might be better though. Still... zebra butts... great!
