I protest that slightly! Yeah my camera can make boring things look cooler, but I like to think I had a hand in picking the lighting so that the sun fell on the flower, but no the plants behind.
The camera was actually rotated 90 degrees. "Down" is actually toward the right. But this made it much more interesting. And instead of having the bright building behind the flower, which it was if you just stopped and snapped, I squatted down to get the dark plants behind it so that it would stand out more.
